Kalahari Resorts & Conventions
Voted the “world’s coolest indoor waterparks,” Kalahari Resorts & Conventions are family entertainment centers featuring indoor and outdoor waterparks, restaurants, shops, and business convention centers—with locations in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Together with programming partner Emergent Software, LN Design collaborated with the Kalahari team to refresh their waterpark website with the goal of generating an exciting and user-friendly experience for guests looking to plan their next family vacation.
Starting with a visual audit and competitive analysis, we created a refreshed visual system including color palette, typography styles, patterns, and icons. Improvements to the user experience included reorganization of the site's main navigation; design of new homepage and primary page templates; and design of new components. Developing a new online shopping experience was also part of the refresh. The refreshed site is intuitive and engaging and supports a fun vacation planning experience for busy families.
