Minnesota Department of Education, Early Childhood Workforce Career Guidebook

Recognizing that the early childhood workforce provides education and care that is vital to the success of our state, the Minnesota Departments of Education (MDE) and Human Services (DHS) sought to create a comprehensive, interactive communication that would promote opportunities and resources available for people to explore and consider a career or continued professional development in the early childhood workforce.

LN Design worked with members of an interagency team to refine content and develop pagination based on stories and draft copy assembled by early childhood experts. Working within the State of Minnesota brand guidelines, we developed design elements and graphic illustrations and curated photography to create an engaging, multi-page informational guide for people interested in starting or continue a career in early childhood. Links and QR codes featured throughout the booklet encourage readers to watch video stories from professionals in the early childhood workforce in Minnesota—inviting and inspiring others to join, grow and support this critical field.
