Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs FY 2024 Annual Report

After working with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) to develop their fiscal year 2023 Annual Report, LN Design was honored to again collaborate with members of the organization and its Communications team to craft its 2024 Annual Report.

To begin, LN Design and copywriting partner Julie Vollenweider interviewed over 30 subject matter experts to gather information and stories. In 2024, MDVA staff worked together to open three new Veterans Homes and a new State Veterans Cemetery; commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War; and to continue their award-winning efforts to support veterans to maximize quality of life. From this work the report’s theme emerged: “Devoted and Diligent: Serving more Veterans across Minnesota”.

With portraits of veterans and MDVA staff captured by photography partner Chad Holder, photos by MDVA staff and partners, and text by Julie Vollenweider, we designed the annual report to tell the story of MDVA’s dedicated teams, outstanding accomplishments and responsible stewardship, and feature the amazing Veterans they serve.
